Traditional Home Presents First-Ever Southern Style Now Showhouse in New Orleans' Historic Uptown District
Designer Showhouse Anchors Inaugural Southern Style Now Festival Celebrating Designers and Artists of the South
NEW ORLEANS, LA (April 19, 2016) – Traditional Home, the leading upscale shelter magazine reaching
4.7 million readers, is opening the doors to its first-‐ever Southern Style Now Showhouse in the heart of New Orleans’ Uptown District from May 19-‐June 12, 2016. Participating designers and artists, all originally from the South, will lend their contemporary vision and southern traditionalism to the 15-‐ room Showhouse, which serves as the centerpiece of the inaugural Southern Style Now design festival taking place from May 19-‐22.
To kick off the 4-‐day festival and Showhouse opening, Traditional Home will host a black tie gala on Wednesday, May 18 to benefit the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans. Design enthusiasts and festival-‐goers are invited to purchase tickets to the event, which will culminate in the presentation of the first annual Gerrie Bremermann Award for Interior Design, awarded by Bunny Williams and Shaun Smith to local living legend Gerrie Bremermann.

Tickets to the May 18 gala reception are available for $315. A portion of the proceeds from Showhouse and gala ticket sales will benefit the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans.
